Liu’s Cafe is a nod to our experiences eating at comfy Chinese mom-and-pop restaurants, affordable street stalls, and crowded night markets across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Shanghai.

Dining at Liu’s is a nostalgic yet familiar experience - blending the vintage charm of mid-century American roadside diners with traditional Chinese décor and modern minimalism.

Our Inspiration

Chinese cuisine boasts a beautifully rich and diverse history, spanning thousands of years and eight regional culinary styles. However, despite its long-standing history and global presence, Chinese food has often been underrepresented in America.

From our homemade blend of Hong Kong-style milk tea, to our deliciously rich and savory pork belly over rice, each dish is crafted with care to capture the essence of those culinary traditions, while adding a little bit of our own flavor style to each one.

Liu’s Cafe is the second concept from the team that brought you Tokki, in Koreatown LA.
